Before taking charge as Academic Director at the ASSET Summer Programme (ASP), he has been the Academic Dean at previous ASPs. He is an integral part of Educational Initiatives, Ahmadabad as Associate Vice President for Academic Support team. He has previously worked as the Principal and IB coordinator at IB World School at Rajkot, India and has been at leadership positions in a school system. He has also worked as Master Trainer for Cambridge Teacher Training Program and for Oxford University Press in India. He is an experienced examiner for the IB Diploma program along with being part of curriculum review teams. He has been guiding students for admission to universities and colleges across globe for more than a decade now.
As an online tutor at Teach Pitch, Shekhar also helps his IB diploma students explore (http://philosophyandknowledge.weebly.com/) Theory of Knowledge (TOK) in the IB diploma, which is equivalent of 12th class board examinations in India. He is passionate about creating teacher-training modules for teachers at all grade levels. Shekhar, is an alumnus from MS University Vadodara, travelled extensively and has been trained for Project Based Learning from High Tech High School, San Diego USA.
Shekhar is currently based in Ahmadabad and loves reading, writing, traveling and cooking for his kids and family. He is passionate about writing short stories and hopes that someday they will be converted into television serial!
Aniruddh has a Ph.D. from his work on the effects of climate change on trees of the Western Ghats, from IISER-Pune. This work has resulted in atleast two publications in international peer-reviewed journals, apart from his thesis. He has worked with students and teachers to provide innovative learning methods in government schools in Pune. This involved setting up the science labs, training teachers and interacting with students. He has worked with gifted students as a part of the ASSET Summer Programme (ASP) since 2016, and is interested in designing curricula, assessment tests and other educational tools for science education. He has offered courses in life sciences, evolution and genetics. He is interested in understanding how students think and what are the best ways to facilitate their process of thinking.
In his free time, he likes watching plays, stand-up comedy and reading books. He likes to play badminton, cricket and table-tennis.

Medha started her career working as Resident Advisor with the Student Housing and Residence Life Team during her time as an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, Canada. Immediately after graduating she worked with the world's largest student-run organisation called AIESEC (Association internationale des etudiants en sciences economiques et commerciales). Her experiences with AIESEC not only allowed her to develop her own leadership abilities but also provided her with an opportunity to help other young people realise their potential. She worked with AIESEC for five years delivering sessions on Team-work, Management, and Leadership in various countries around the world like Canada, Mauritius, India, and Taiwan to name a few.
Prior to working at Educational Initiatives she has also worked at Ashoka University's Centre for Entrepreneurship. Currently as the Resident Director for the ASSET Summer Programme her key responsibility is to make sure all students have an all-around enriching experience and to ensure the health and safety of all students.
Medha firmly believes in helping young people realise their potential by providing them with access to holistic educational programming. Bindu has a Masters in Industrial Chemistry from ISTAR, Anand; Gujarat. In her 11 year tenure with EI, she has worked on communication, branding, social media, promoting Mindspark to students using it from home; she was also the Editor of newsletter ASSETScope which was shared with 7000 English medium schools in India.
She has spearheaded many events/activities in schools such as AQAD, ASSET Ambassador, ASSET week and Question Making Competition for the teachers. She has been part of the Talent Identification Programme at EI for the past 7 years and has acted as the Test Centre Head; centrally managing the Test conduction across the country. She was the focal point for safety, food, communication with parents, organized events and field trips for the students and entire faculty for ASSET Summer Programme 2017 at Manipal University.
For Bindu, the best part of being at the Summer Programme is meeting and spending time with some amazingly talented children from diverse background and cities!
In her spare time, she does gardening, painting, baking, and Quilling. She is passionate about learning Bonsai art and wishes to represent India in international competitions.
